Pharmacies-Retail/Outpatient

One of the keys to reducing the chances of a patient’s readmission is their compliance in taking post-hospitalization medications. It has been found that compliance is higher when the prescriptions are readily available right at the hospital before patients leave to return home.

Buffalo General Medical Center, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital and Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo all have retail pharmacies that serve not only patients being discharged, but anyone in the community needing the services of a retail pharmacy.

Costs for prescriptions are comparable to any community pharmacy and the High Street Pharmacy and Children's Home Care Pharmacy provide free home delivery.
